For those of you who don’t know, we got a TON of snow and ice the last couple of days. A lot of people’s power in our town is out – this includes my parents’ house (who are on vacation) where my little brother lives. But, we rescued him (and by we, I mean Tommy) and he’s now here safe with us until he gets power back. Rose LOOOOOOVES her Uncle Nick. There was a short period where she cried everytime he’d hold her, but she’s over that now. It’s nothin’ but love now! He plans to teach her how to become a pro-golfer when she grows up.

I got a sweet new prime lens (135mm) for 15 dollars off of Craigslist and decided to test it on my two favorite subjects – Tommy and Rose. I love them both so much!

Rose turned 9 months old today! I can’t believe in just three short months, she’ll be a year old… Gosh, times flies. Here’s the cutie today on her 9 month birthday:

I got a new lens today for my Canon in the mail as one of my Christmas gifts. So, what’s a mother whose obsessed with photography to do? Take some pictures of her sweet Rose, of course. Here they are:
When we say, “Rose, how big are you? SOOOOO BIG!” this is what happens.
In other Rose news, her third tooth (top left tooth) has just broken through and she’s now able to stand by herself without any support for very short periods of time. My little baby is growing up!

We just got back from our first family vacation to visit my grandparent’s in Florida! We had so much fun being with them and getting to enjoy the sunny, beautiful weather!
