Yesterday, Rose started showing interest in her toys. She loves to shake her rattle and scrunch up the crinkly stuff in her cloth book. So, I figured we’d give it a go at her exer-saucer. She didn’t know what to think, but after she started moving her little feet around, she liked it. She’s not quite big enough yet to use it all the time, but we’re getting close!

While we were in Indy this weekend, Rose got to hang out with some of her Roseman cousins. She looooooves them and I think the feeling is mutual.

Tommy and I took little Rose up to Indy this weekend. Our first stop was to McCormick’s Creek for a Pugh Family Reunion. I went 3 years ago when we were actually able to stay and camp, but this time we were only able to stay for Friday during the day. We had a lot of fun and wish we could have stayed longer.

This evening, Tommy, Rose and I went over to my grandparent’s house, as we often do, for dinner. They live just a few minutes away and we love spending time with them. Sometimes we even play a game of double-bid Euchre, but we didn’t get to tonight.

Yesterday was the opening day for Ellis Park. We went and Rose, of course, tagged along. It was hot outside, but she still managed to enjoy herself. We didn’t win anything, though, but with $2 bets, who cares?
Rose was sleepy.

Along with other Evansville sites we visited this weekend, Rose went on her first trip to the mueum. She wasn’t quite the happy camper the whole time we were there, but we still had fun.
My grandpa Anderson helped make these (LSTs) and my grandma christened one.
