Can you believe Thanksgiving has come and gone?!  I can’t!  Seriously, my baby will be a year old in almost 4 months.  That just absolutely blows my mind!  Whoever said time flies was not kidding; especially when you have kids. 

We went to Indy for the holiday and really enjoyed our time up there.  It was nice seeing all of our family and friends!  Without further ado – the pictures:

Rose has been sitting up on her own for a little over a month, but she could only do it for short periods of time and she usually toppled forward and kissed her toes or fell backwards after awhile. However, today, she started being able to sit all by herself for awhile to play with her toys. She even pushed herself forward onto her stomach and tried to get up on her knees. Not too much longer until she’s crawling!!

It’s cooling down here in southwestern Indiana and the long sleeved shirts and pants have come out of storage.  We’re having a great fall so far and Rose is still continuing to grow like a weed.  She’s going to be seven months old on Wednesday.  I can’t believe it!

We had a great time celebrating Halloween with Rose. She was a bunny, and loved all the attention she got from the trick-or-treaters that stopped by. We hung out in my parent’s driveway with our neighbors and passed out candy. I can’t wait until next Halloween when she’ll be able to actually walk to peoples’ houses!

Let’s see…  Indy was a great time!  We had lots of fun catching up with family.  Rose, right before we left to go up to Indy, started rolling over all the time from her stomach to her back.  She is so proud of herself when she does it, too.

We also had lots of fun at Kelly and Addy’s house this week.  Rose LOVES Addy!  She thinks she’s pretty awesome.  I’m sure there will be plenty more Rose and Addy pictures in the future!

Rose is 6 months old today!!!! She’s halfway through her first year! ::tear:: I just can’t believe it. She’s been the most absolute best gift God has ever given Tommy and I and we just can’t get enough of her. Every morning when I walk in her room to get her up for the day, she smiles the biggest smile ever known to man at me and everyday I’m reminded of why life is so great. It’s such a great way to start my day! Words could never express how much we love her and we can only hope that we can be half as great to her as she’s been to us.
